Heritage of the upazila

Muradnagar is an ancient and traditional town. This upazila consisting of 22 unions is one of the largest upazilas in the country. This upazila plays a progressive role in literature, culture and politics. In this upazila the country's famous politician is 1. Mr. Abul Hashem, former MNA. 2. Mr. Yusuf Abdullah Harun FCA, the current Member of Parliament, is a successful businessman and the leader of the business community. 3.
