Muradnagar is an upazila in Comilla district in Bangladesh. It is the largest upazila of Comilla district with 22 unions. Names of Unions: Srikail, Akubpur, Andikot, Purbadhair (East), Purbadhair (West), Bangra (East), Bangra (West), Chapitla, Kamalla, Jatrapur, Ramchandrapur (South), Ramchandrapur (North), Muradnagar, Nabipur (East). ), Nabipur (West), Dhamghar, Jahapur, Chaliakandi, Darora, Paharpur, Babutipara and Tonki.

Location and boundaries of the upazila: Nabinagar upazila on the north, Debidwar, Brahmanpara and Kasba upazilas on the east, Chandina and Debidwar upazilas on the south, Daudkandi, Homna and Banscharampur upazilas on the west. Muradnagar upazila is situated on the banks of the river Gomti, 35.42 km by road from the district headquarters of Comilla. The people of Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya claim a resounding success in the struggle, tradition and fight against natural disasters despite the loss of thousands of acres of crops in the upazila almost every year.
